A comprehensive software solution including two different applications, one for employees and one for management.
The project goal
The project goal was to create a solution that would allow employees to go through a remote process that included, but not limited to:
- Health Status
- User Management
- Sites & Teams Management
- Communication tools (Toolbox Talks, Trainings, Direct Messages-Chat)
- Biometric registration
- Time& Attendance
The entire process would have been done by users own time, remotely, without the need for their physical presence on-site.
Furthermore, for those locations that use biometric readings (facial recognition) registered with Suprema Access Systems, we have developed an option of having users biometrics sent over to Suprema database, for registration, so they could have straight access via turnstiles on their first visit on-site.
Focusing on the flexibility of native apps, we aimed to create a logical process with a friendly user experience that would take the process from registration to completion in a minimum time.
Admins would have on their dedicated tab app (and web-based app) the possibility to approve new users, check their details (including competency cards), verify their induction process as well as generate toolbox talks, training videos or general messages.
How It Works

New starters will download the app from Apple Store or Play Store. Once they have registered all their credentials, one of the staff will review the new registration and approve or deny it.
After approval, users will continue with the personal information, induction process, and biometric registration.
The H&S admin will have access to a dedicated tablet app/web app and will be able to monitor all inductees, review their applications and add or delete users.
For those sites where the app works in conjunction with Suprema Access Systems, deleting a user from the system would also block the access on-site, thanks to data exchange between the Alsys and Suprema platforms.
Alsys Connect is a flexible tool that will allow users to keep it on their mobiles for continuing communication with the company they are working for.
There are several modules that could be further implemented within the app, based on the client’s requirement.
Furthermore, we are happy to take any new challenge in regards to the app’s improvement, meaning that any request that might not be on our extras could be developed and implemented.
